Hexadecimal ↔ Decimal Conversions — 510 Fill-in-the-Blank Questions (Canvas QTI Question Bank)

$6.99

This bank has 510 fill-in-the-blank questions covering every whole number from 1 to 255. Half ask students to convert a decimal number to hexadecimal; half ask them to convert a hexadecimal number to decimal. Each question shows the given value with a small base subscript, for example 125₁₀ or 7D₁₆.

Use it to build practice quizzes, homework, or exit tickets on number base conversion — no multiple-choice guessing, students type the actual answer.

How Canvas grades answers

Fill-in-the-blank answers are matched as exact text, so here's exactly what's accepted:

  • Decimal — the plain number (e.g. 125)

  • Hexadecimal — all uppercase or all lowercase, never mixed case (e.g. DF or df)

In short: DF and df both score correct for 223, but Df or dF does not.
